Tonight was my very first run of the Aurum Vale and I thought I was prepared - I read a guide in preparation, got my rotation sorted out, all that - but boy, all the reading could not have prepared me for this dungeon. To make matters worse, I played it as a (very nervous) WHM.
The results weren't pretty. We wiped two times on the first boss, both times because I waited too long to get to the fruits. After the second time, one of the dps quit the duty (which was less than encouraging, though I really can't blame them).
Fortunately, the rest of my group (+ the dps that joined us) was a godsend. The tank especially was incredibly patient with me and guided me through all the encounters. It was really such a change of pace from the usual "git gud" attitude I know from other mmos.
So Nadezhda Lyubov, if you ever read this, thank you so much for helping me through this horrible poison-filled swamp and thank all of you (sub or otherwise) for creating such a welcoming community!
