I use to be like most of you, saying "You only need one character, why make things account wide?". That was until a few friends of mine decided to come back to FFXIV. All of us are on different data centers, and I'm the only one in my friend group on Primal. Three are on Crystal, one is on Aether and two are on Chaos. Each of us are in various parts of the story. I know some people are going to say "just server transfer". It's not that easy.
