I Love How Different The Flavors Of The Different Crafter Guilds Are

Inb4 spoilers for the 1-50 crafter quests.

So I've been leveling my crafters now and I'm currently at leatherworking. I love how while the journey of becoming better is similar, the way you are treated especially by the guildmasters is vastly different.

In the cooking one you are a pure prodigy. You surpass your peers who have been training months longer than you within a short timeframe and from level 5 onwards you are the rising star who impresses everyone.

Similar to this as a Blacksmith the guildmaster sees you as an equal very fast and is in general very trusty of you right from the start.

The goldsmith on the other hand praises you constantly, but that is more her personality. She lets it shine through every now and then how much better she still is compared to you.

The leatherworker is just straight up savage. The level 15 quest just being like "yeah that is good enough... for our novices to practise on"

I also like how the quests have a lot of implications on the culture. Like the Gridinia ones are very focussed around supplying materials for war. Which is something you would not expect when looking at Gridinia. Like every botanist quest is essentially a comission by the military and every carpentry quest is to provide weapons for the troops. Which is something the other professions didnt yet have.
