You know how in Overwatch at the end of a match the game picks a few players and show everyone how they contributed to the fight ? I kinda wish FFXIV had a similar system, so that we can actually praise people who do well in duties ~
I imagine it like this ; at the end of a duty, when asked if you want to command someone, if you hover your mouse over someone's name a popup appears and tells you 2 feats they achieved during the duration of the duty. It can be any notable thing, and specific to each job, and then you can decide who to command while knowing how much of an impact they had in the run.
A few examples would be :
-------→ TANKS
-------→ HEALERS and any job who can heal their mates (including RDM, DNC, etc...)
-------→ Everyone who can BUFF their mates (most jobs, actually)
-------→ EVERYONE
And to not mess with the numbers (for buffs uptime etc), maybe have "most" of these parameters only be taken in account during actual fights.
Or heck. If that makes commanding toxic or whatnot, at the very least I would be interested to know how I performed in a duty, and see these numbers. Like, as DNC I would like to know if my shielding does any good, or my heal. It's not the main things I have to do in a duty, but I still actively use my heal for me and others, and actively shield the party for big coming AOEs.
As of now, I usually command anyone with a name I like, or any DNC, or -if can recall correctly- the person who gave the most useful info and tips in the duty. But if none of that applies, I just command a random heal or tank, despite not knowing if another person actually performed like exceptionally and should be commanded instead.
What do you think ?
EDIT : Removed DPS category as *all jobs* are DPS.

A few examples would be :
-------→ TANKS
- Ate X% of the total damage in the run
- Kept the aggro for X% of the total fighting time
- I'm sure there are other things possible but I never played a tank yet
-------→ HEALERS and any job who can heal their mates (including RDM, DNC, etc...)
- Revived X players
- Revived YOU X times
- Contributed to X% of the total healing
- Healed YOU for X times your max HP (because throwing out huge numbers like healing 5421687HP in a total run is hard to grasp)
- Removed X debuffs
- Remove X debuffs on YOU
- I'm sure there are other things possible but I never played a healer yet
-------→ Everyone who can BUFF their mates (most jobs, actually)
- Prevented the team from eating X damage
- Prevented YOU from eating X damage (or X% of your max HP)
- Had their buffs up in battle for X% of the time of the fight.
- Some other things
-------→ EVERYONE
- Contributed to X% of the total damage (and if you can buff someone to increase their damage, add this contribution too)
- Contributed to X% of the damage on adds (not sure about this one, but sometimes getting rid of the adds is difference between a success and a wipe)
- Ate only X avoidable AOEs
- Died only X times
- Heck, maybe this one too : Marked X targets
- Interrupted X attacks
- Some other things
