Dear FFXIV Team,
First, I apology for my English grammar since I am not a native speaker, but I want to point out that this message is coming from my heart.
My adventure in FF14 has begun on August 2018. I played with no interruptions until April 2019.
The adventure of the Warrior of Light used to be such an amazing journey, a world full of secrets, beauty and mystery with solid MMORPG Mechanics. I was glad, I found my new home for my favourite hobby. I pre ordered Shadowbringers the first day it came out, and could not wait for the full release in June, if I am not wrong.
For unexepected reasons, I had to move from the USA to the UK in April 2019 for my company. My new job took all my hobbies away for an extensive period , no time and energy to give my dedication for FFXIV.
I was often thinking how much I would love to start the next adventure in Shadowbringers after watching hundreds of time your full ShB trailer on Youtube.
Well, the COVID 19 came to Europe, for the worst , and my Company had to close for couple of weeks. In the middle of this difficult moment, I remember that a game that I really like was just awaiting for me.
I went home, opened my travel boxes to set my gaming computer!
FINALLY , I could continue my Journey with FFXIV, as the Warrior of Darkness.
Well, I just finished the story on April 20th 2020 and I just want to raise my hands to all the Team. What you have done it is beyong everything I could expect. To be honest, during the final credit, I was clapping my hands saying "what an experience!".
You have reminded me why I am proud to be a gamer, because a game can be more than a game. A game can be a piece of art. Let me tell you, you have crafted something memorable in my mind. You have reached the point where your game is above a product to sell, a true masterpiece, where you guess that many artists worked together with passion to deliver their vision and promises, a unique experience.
Naoki Yoshida, I hope you realize how high You and Your team pushed the level that is now set to your community for the rest of this game lifepan.
From the music , the story to the ambiance , just one word, CONGRATULATIONS. This will remain in the FF history, not only for saving the game from its initial release , but for now being one of the greatest Square Enix Game ever.
Thank You for this beautiful chapter, thank you for your commitment, you can be proud really.
Oh.. and for sure , I will be there for the next one on time
