I know I'm late to the party, but wow. Everyone was right about how amazing the story was. I haven't been this moved by a game's story in a long time, and I haven't been this moved by an MMOs story in.. Well ever really.
I just want to thank the community that was super helpful to me during the leveling experience and encouraging me to carry on during the parts that felt drawn out, especially for those who urged me to do the Crystal Tower storyline.
I also decided to switch from red mage to gunbreaker very late in the game, and I've almost never played a tank before so I again have the community to thank for being patient with me as I both learned how to tank in general as well as learning how to tank the FFXIV dungeon mechanics.
Lastly, I want to thank the genius writers who gave us this amazing story! As soon as the game wrapped up I did something I almost never do: looked up reaction videos on YouTube just to see how excited everyone else got during those epic moments!
I'm going to take a bit of a break before tackling the post ShB story + level 80 job quests, but I couldn't do so without getting all the above off my chest!
So in a nutshell, FFXIV is awesome, shadowbringers is awesome and you guys are all awesome!
