Preamble: I am making this post more so as a minor attempt to put this request in an area the developers of this game are most likely to see. I admittedly do not think it is likely, but given this is something I am somewhat passionate about, I felt it would atleast allow the greatest chance of this being seen, responded to in an official capacity, and even possibly implemented, however small a chance that might be.
Additionally, before making this topic, I searched the forums to see if a similar request has been made. Aside from a few passing remarks that such would be appreciated along side other additions, I saw no devoted posts requesting this.
The character 'Varshahn', that being the animated soulless Au Ra homunculus disguise of Vytra, and more specifically the adult variant of said homunculus, has a strikingly unique, and conventionally attractive face and appearance; This is especially striking in comparison to other Au Ra faces, of whom universally bear extremely stylized, and notably angry looking faces (save for face 4, which appears quite dour looking.)
Though he bears the horns of Au Ra Male Face 1, Varshahn also bears unique coloration on his horns, making the face even further unique.
Hence, it is the writer of this thread's humble request to Square Enix Creative Studio III that Varshahn's adult face be adjusted and implemented as useable by the average player for use in character customization of male Au Ras as a variant of face 1, in the same manner Face 7 of midlander Hyurs is a variant of Face 5.
I understand that adjustments must be made and effort must be taken to ensure all character customization options and hairstyles may work well with said face. That said, I believe the effort will pay off, both in player good will, and in the 1,000s of current Au Ra players and prospective Au Ra players who will purchase and use fantasias to use said face for their character.
Though I understand the reasoning for having important and unique characters bearing distinct and unique appearances, Vytra himself has his own unique model, and in addition to being one of the only characters in the game to have a child, and an adult variant, and the character bearing a unique horn coloration in both iterations, I believe there is more than suitable visual displays that the character is important and unique even even should the face be useable by players, similar to how many of the scions bear the archon's mark denoting them as unique, despite sharing their useable face with player characters.
That is all. Thankyou for reading, and have a lovely day.
