How To Reduce Raid / Performance Anxiety?

Early TL;DR: Performed worse in a NieR raid than usual, got marked to Ignore after dying a few times, felt super anxious afterwards. Looking to figure out how to build up any confidence in myself to try again.

In the later game raids, I die frequently but I keep coming back to them to practice and learn the raid better.

I am a MNK main and do decent DPS, still struggling to optimize and juggle everything while avoiding mechanics. I tried going through one NieR raid as a fresh level 80 DNC, performed MUCH worse DPS-wise on an easier to manage class while maybe even dying more. Had worse gear, but I don't think that's all.

After a few deaths, I got marked as "Target to Ignore 1." I'm guessing this meant to just let me floor tank. Whatever it meant, it felt like I had a big red target on my back showing the raid that I'm no good at this.

Got very anxious, dissociated through the rest of the fight, couldn't even say anything afterwards because I felt so bad.

I love this game, I just want to feel good at it and enjoy the NieR raids (one of my other favorite games!). Nonetheless, I'm worried about ever trying again since my self-confidence isn't there. I'm afraid the same thing will happen again.

Just.. any suggestions? I hate feeling like I've let multiple people down, and that happens with each death or feeling 'not good enough' DPS-wise. I started playing a few months ago with veteran friends and am just tired of not feeling up to par ;;
