I played up through Heavensward, and trying to talk a buddy into playing who has never played before. One of the things that worries him is how long it would take him to theoretically catch up to where the story is now. Not be like end-game raiding or anything, but just to get to current content. being that I'm coming back with my highest class being a 60 paladin, I don't even know the answer to this. So about how long would it take a fresh character to get to where he's in current content and doing the stuff that I'm sure is recommended before then like getting your chocobo and stuff?
