I've seen players mention in various threads that they use ACT parses to improve their play. Well, I want to improve my game, so I tried out ACT and uploaded a couple of logs to FFLogs, but then what? There's a bunch of graphs, but what am I looking for in the data to see where my weaknesses are and what to change to get better? I'm basically stuck on Phase 2: ?, and not sure how to get to Phase 3: Profit. (Phase 1, of course, being to collect parses.) I mainly play as a tank, but I'm interested in hearing advice for DPS and healer classes as well.
Also, I'm still leveling and nowhere near endgame content, should I even bother parsing at this stage? On one hand I'd rather fix problems early than let them become ingrained habits that are hard to break, but on the other hand I know I'll never be good enough to get into savage raiding anyway, so maybe just getting to "competent" is enough.
