Soooo, basically, I need advise on how to play my first ever tank (Marauder).
I'm still a sprout, but I have leveled 4 jobs to about level 30, so I've gotten some gameplay in. However, I now decided to pick up the Marauder job and am now at level 20 and enjoying it more than I thought u would.
What I don't get.... in dungeons you always run around, following the tank who is gathering enemies and then fighting them all at once, which I always fail at.
I get that you have to harbor all of the enemy aggression. So basically, I try running by the first couple of enemies, hitting one of them with the ranged attack and then technically I would do so with the second group as well and so on...until I'd stop to fight. BUT they never seem to stay focused on me. Often times they'll just go after the dps and even while fighting, I'll see dps loosing hp, meaning that they're being attacked. While in groups, I always try to spam the attack that hits multiple enemies and raises aggression, but it never seems to be enough. I also have defiance turned on.
