I need some advice on how to not turn this into drama. Im part of an FC, lots of nice people in it, the leader organizes clears of extremes and savages constantly. They spends hours teaching us, has the patience of a saint, rarely denies a request.
My issue is with a "friend of the FC", I dont know who he's friends with. The only thing I know about him is that he has a learning disability. We get through content ok with him cuz the FC does specific callouts for him, even covers missed mechanics for him during the run, but it takes much longer.
Once in a while I dont mind helping on these slow runs, but he's started asking for clears or farms EVERY TIME the leader makes a post to organize. He emphasizes his learning disability, to the point he made a post in the official forums some time ago with his worries about pugging and doing group content. Yet he's apparently the leader of his own FC, and his FC members and friends are asking for clears and runs of content from our FC now too. I've never seen them tell our leader more than "thanks" for all the time spent organizing, teaching.
There was one time our leader was teaching an old savage run and spent 2 days, 9-10 hours teaching 5 people. After clearing, a member pointed out our leader hadnt gotten the mount yet. So everyone but him passed on the mount to show our appreciation. He said its cuz he really wanted it, but it didn't excuse being selfish.
Theres other examples of ppl who dont give back after being helped, but they dont ask to be carried through content at every opportunity. How do I bring this up to the FC whos too nice to say no?
Edit 1: got rid of unnecessary info
Edit 2: so my FC leader is amazing and found this thread even though it's only a couple hours old.
She gave me to option to talk annonymously on this throwaway and thanked me for a well thought out thread and for valuing her and other members time. She said she organizes for the FC and friends to make us happy, and if we aren't happy, we need to let her know. If this issue is a huge concern to me, she will address the person I am concerned about directly and take action.
So thanks for the advice everyone. It helped me shape my thoughts quickly and hopefully nicely.
