After a 10 year hiatus from the genre, I’ve returned to MMO’s. I used to play wow, but decided this time around ffxiv is for me.
I hear good things about the culture, and think it’ll be more my speed. I’m just not sure what that culture is like.
Whats the general social vibe for a new player?
Nothing specific. Curious about things like…
How can I find a guild? Clan? Posse? lol not sure what they’re called yet.
Is it worthwhile doing that before I get to endgame content?
I will aspire to do some light raiding, but will probably never be a top-tier player. Should I stick to pick up groups?
Most you guys are older in this game right? I’m pushing 40.
