So, ok, not going to sugarcoat it: My FFXIV character is basically named after and meant to be the same guy that Sothis asks "what is your name" at the beginning of FE3H, using the custom name I always answer that question with. I don't impose this RP on anyone else (at least... not any more), this is just for my enjoyment. My retainers are FE3H characters, my chocobo is white and named edelgard, I main the "single sword" classes, so yeah... I'm a fan.
I'd like to turn my apartment into an homage to the professor's room, but I'm so new that I don't know what pieces might make good substitutions. If you have a foot in FE3H and a foot in FFXIV and like housing, I'd love your input!
