I am thinking, Dawntrail has very much negative review and many players very much dislike the story, so is it time to hire a New Writer who has many good books to join?
One Idea is hire Stepehen King to write. He wrote books like The Thing, which is in the Horror Genre. And I thinking: isn't it exciting to try Horror finally in a Final Fantasy game for once? Oder, we can hire JK Rowling oder George R R Martin.
Stepehen King will very much be inspire by Meracydia, where Dragons are mutating into a Horror Thing, like this Picture:
The Story goes as follow: In Meracydia, many Horror Things have appeared, that can be anything from mutating Dragon to mutating Hyur to even mutating Cats or Dogs. These Horror Things are hiding below a Tunnel in the main City of Meracydia. We need to excavate the Tunnel to find that, in fact there is a whole underground Ancient city built by Mhach, and it is now full of Horrors.
This so that we finding out, there is a Master Mhach mage that is creating the Horror Things, and to stop him, but suddenly surprise, it is actually Timothy Charlamagne
Here, we find out that he has received Message from Heaven to wipe out the planet from beneath the underground as a Holy War. Then, Holy War breaks out in all of Eorzea with Horror Dragons, Horror Chimeras, Horror Bahamut everywhere destroying.
Finally, this is the surprise, that Timothy Charlamagne actually Succeed, so at the end of 8.0, actually we very much lose and can teleport no longer to Eorzea and need to hide on the First... Becoming the first real Horror and Bad Ending of the game.
