With technology as far as it is now, why dont you try to revolutionize Final Fantasy and bring it back to what it used to be with something like Holograms!? (Turn base and less homogenized)
I for myself dislike VR headsets technology for gaming for a few reasons.
With the idea that holographic video games could exist defined by more than just a couple years of dreams as society have seen from movies and basic real life designs, I am convinced that demand would be at the rendez-vous and that it would be popular.
I am aware that you have created and developped something along the lines as like Luminous Engine, so why not try to once again be ahead of time and open the way to a new trend in the gaming industry as I for myself find it quite stagnating at the moment.
Anyway, just an idea like this if it can reach the highest ground of your company. Who knows, if SE doesnt lead/develop that possibility, then someone else probably will.
With nintendo not releasing a competitive console for futuristic design in a while, as in my opinion they focus on retro and universal connectivity for centralized machination, I think whats been seen so far is that Sony and Microsoft are upfront on that topic for the moment.
Then again, microsoft also is trying to centralize everything and that trend is quite dull.
Consoles and computers for video games have been in a loop for some time now and in the end, I personally believe that PC is quite the core of anything and everything anyway as no matter what its the core. (VR stand in the mix)
Virtual reality can be attractive sure, but not everyone enjoy having to wear something even if it was as little as a pair of google glasses/lens and in the end, in between headaches and space restrictions (with real movements) I for myself much prefer to play while sitting or even standing on one spot without having to move around as if I was playing with a nintendo wii remote controller. (Not including other VR complications issues) and also (not saying real excercise couldnt be part of it either)
Anyway, I hope someone read this and, please debate on the topic.
