Hi y'all! I just finished The Ultimate Weapon a few hours ago, and I can safely say that I've fallen in love with this game.
A lot of that is because I'm super engaged with the story, but the other part is because of the great party I had. I had no clue what I was doing since of course this was my first run of The Praetorium, but the party was friendly, patient, and very reassuring that I wasn't being a burden when I apologized for holding them up. They let me know what to do and joked the whole way through and it was a super chill atmosphere overall.
This was especially nice since I get pretty bad anxiety in multiplayer games that I'm still learning (even though I play bard and understand there's less pressure on the DPS to not fuck up). I'd also had a previous party that got pretty angry and dissolved yesterday, so my nerves were worse than usual. I think having a nice party helped leave me in higher spirits and really let me enjoy those ending cutscenes.
So thank you to all the patient and helpful players out there! Us new nervous messes appreciate y'all and hope to carry you through the dungeon someday. ❤
