Dear Square Enix / Final Fantasy XIV Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to make a very personal request—one that comes from the bottom of my heart. Although I am a relatively new player (I’ve been exploring Eorzea for about three months), I am completely captivated by the world you have built.
If you look at my account data, you will notice that the name 'Grohl' appears everywhere, from my character’s last name to my Chocobo. This is because Grohl is the name of my dog in the real world.
Grohl is a French Bulldog who came into my life during a very difficult time. He has been by my side through everything. I know every owner says their dog is the best in the world, and I don't want to fall into clichés, but he is more than just a pet; he is my most faithful companion and has truly saved my life more than once.
He is now 11 years old. Although he is still strong and I do everything possible to give him the best quality of life, I know that, eventually, the inevitable will happen. I don't feel ready for that day. It might sound a bit sentimental, but I would love to be able to continue living adventures in this game by his side.
My request is to ask if you could consider adding a fawn coat French Bulldog minion to the game. Being able to have him with me throughout the rest of my journey and all the future content you release would mean the world to me.
I know this is a deeply personal request, but you have no idea how happy it would make me to imagine him next to me in-game. It would be a way to keep seeing him by my side even when he is no longer with me in person.
