I started playing the game as DPS, and slowly became used to the sometimes 30+ min queue times. Once I got my RDM to 80 I felt like trying the tank and healer roles, and started with AST. I have actually enjoyed playing healer way more than DPS so far, and the instant queue times where definitely a part of that. I played AST all the way through Heavensward and the beginning of Stormblood, and once it hit 80 I decided it was time to try tank. I levelled DRK to 60 and then switched to GNB which I have been having a blast with, but after playing healer for so long, even a 5 min queue as a tank makes me impatient. I even switched back to healer for the final quest just because I got sick of waiting the duty to pop as a tank.
What's really sad is I find myself wanting to go back to DPS once my tank hits 80, but I don't think I will be able to deal with the queue times after playing healer for so long.
Any other players suffer from HLR-Q syndrome?
