What if they designed healers going forward as a support/tank role?

Seeing as how we generate the 2nd highest enmity it only seems right that we should be able to tank that and hold the party together until we can get the tank back up. This would help further separate healers from just casters, and help us to feel more like a middle ground between tank/caster or Support. In traditional RPGs, a dedicated healer class like Cleric and to a lesser degree Druid, were probably some of the tankiest non-fighter/barbarian classes as they had more hp than a wizard/sorcerer, and with better armor protection, and usually better saves. I could see an argument being made for that being the case in 14 if the design team implemented these changes.

Support Stance:
While in SS Healers receive 15% less damage, Healing Spells have a reduced casting time. Damage is reduced by 5%. Eminty Increase (less than tanks but higher than any DPS could generate given the same number of actions over time.)

Healer's Resolve:
HP Bonus based off of Piety perhaps? Like I said before Healers should be hardier than normal casters like Wizards or in this case black mage, etc etc, and by a hefty margin too. if DPS has 22k hp and the tank has 100k then the healer role should have 50k hp
This could be a stat buff that triggers when entering group content with a party like how limits don't appear until you have a party of 4 or more, the more people in the party the bigger the buff so that at 4 people parties healers have the above-mentioned hp buff.

Let's move away from having the same Role Actions as the DPS casters mostly.
We can keep things like Swiftcast, Surecast, and Lucid Dream, but Repose isn't exactly necessary I don't think.

New Role Action:
Why not have a new Role action that is an attack unique to healer types, that's like a big DPS spike button that has a reasonably long cooldown, perhaps say 2 minutes but the damage is chef's kiss, usable only when in the healer role in a party setup.

Miracle Strike: Strike at all your foes with the combined hopes and prayers of your allies Deal unaspected damage to All enemies within range of 25y and a radius of 5y, Potency 700, with a potency increase of +100 for each Ally above 4. So that in raids the damage goes up to. This gives healers another attack bonus they can use in their rotations and increases their DPS slightly to compensate for SS a bit.
