The Au Ra "Haragin" tribe's entry is as follows:
The legends of this coastal tribe tell of a group of their ancestors who crafted a giant ship and sailed out across the endless eastern ocean. The explorers are said to have returned with tales of a terrible island covered in massive grey monoliths and inhabited by fire-breathing steel demons.
Prior to Shadowbringers, I had attributed this to some Allagan or pre-Allagan ruin, but with the revelations at the end of Shadowbringers vanilla launch, it seems very likely that this tribe sailed so far east that they crossed over toward where the "New World" is and discovered the ruins of a metropolis filled with skyscrapers from the time of the Ancients with what may well be YorHa-machinery guarding it. While this may just be a throwaway easter egg for astute readers, it's entirely possible that one of the reasons we might find to venture over to the New World in a future expansion relates to the area being more intact than the rest of the world after seven Calamities.
