Enemies

  • All monsters can be slept.
  • The enemies are paired: Airi and Cleaner, Iruci and Weapon, Ahriman and Dragon.
    • Defeating one of the pair strengthens the other. The strengthened monsters have much higher evasion, accuracy, attack and defense. They also gain HP, MP, and TP regen.
    • The Dragon is much more dangerous than the Ahriman, so kill it first.
    • To speed things up you can knock the first of each pair down to low HP, put it to sleep while you kill the other one, then finish off the first one.

I actually want to revise our strategy on this, but need to test it out. Right now our typical run is to go Ghost > Skeleton > Dragon > Ahriman > Weapon > Cleaner. 10-12 of mixed jobs is sufficient for this.

What I want to test out is the sleeping of one paired NM while the other is brought to low health as well, so that it's unnecessary to fight a buffed NM from 100%. We did try this last time somewhat, but I read the pairings wrong. The way I would go about it would be to go directly to the dragon, stop damage at 5% or so and sleep it, double back to the eye and kill that, then polish off the dragon. Then take the weapon to 5% or so, have someone go get the skeleton (I assume it's lullaby succeptible, but not 100% sure) and kill that, then finish off the weapon. Same thing with pot and ghost.
