A few days ago my game (and PC) crashed while playing two separate times and the cause appears to be that when I open FFXIV, the load on my GPU jumps from the 20-30% range, to 90-100% and the GPU temperature jumps from 40 degrees to 70 degrees.
I'm not the most tech-savvy, but this seems to be a memory leak of sorts. I've tried reinstalling the game to see if it was a bad install but the problem persists.
This is happening no matter how long the game has been open and it hasn't happened with any other game/software of mine and I've not changed anything in my in-game settings or PC setup since this issue began.
Game version: PC (non-steam)
OS: Windows 10 Pro
CPU: Intel Core i7-9700F CPU @ 3.00GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.0GHz
RAM: 16GB
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER
Screen resolution: 3440 x 1440p
