For those that don't read BG very much.

They drop from the Kings in Nyzul Isle. Someone also received the Askar Gambieras as well as Denali Gambieras from 20F Behemoth.

I figured when SE said that certain items that have become very popular could now be found in Nyzul Isle, they could of meant ??? sword dropping from Faf to be turned into a Ridill.

Now that I see they drop the new armor sets I can almost assume 100% ridill wont be dropping from them. They're loot pool would be too large for Ridill to drop (from SE's perspective).
 
Doesn't mean it doesn't have a chance to drop a ??? sword, just means it drops this stuff and who knows what else.
 
I just don't think SE would put both the new armor and ridill on the same mob. Could be wrong, but it just seems really uncharacteristic of SE to do something "that" cool.

Yup that's what I thought too, until they made Thief Knife 100% drop and fixed Ullikummi. Seriously, it's *possible* that Ridill could drop from it, but I bet that if it does, it's at a very low drop rate or something, SE isn't that stupid (or wait... they are...).

Have 4 tags waiting to be burned.

Been reading BG about this place, and it's a theory that maybe on higher floors you can fight Fafnir again with a higher drop rate or perhaps a different loot pool (e.body anyone? lol).

They don't drop ??? Sword, though. Defeating NMs pops a Treasure Chest that contains a ??? Item of the same type as the NM's rare drop, which has a low chance of apprasing into the rare drop.

So it would drop a Denali whatever, and a treasure chest would spawn with a ??? Sword. Doesnt' seem that far fetched :)

I know that's just a minor technicality, but still :D
 
Ridill "could" be a rare drop and just drop in treasure pool. Or like you said Kal, might have a low chance on spawning treasure chest and then a low chance of getting ??? sword then another low chance to turning into ridill.. ya. lol

I'd still like to try this for myself, it sounds like a lot of fun tbh.

Also kinda want to do salvage... but not until strats and drops are confirmed for most of the sets.

Also need to whore out mamook for Amir shitkickers... meh so many things to do, so little tags.
 
wow, that's some incredibly mediocre armor, i can't wait to ignore the living shit out of this assault
