Posting this as thanks to GM Sonnokoth, who was very quick and concise in their response and discussion with me about a player who was spamming text macros and griefing during a Copied Factory run. I do appreciate it.
I've felt this way for a while, but I think the ability to blacklist disruptive players during duty would go a long way toward mitigating potentially disruptive behavior on the part of other players, from an end user perspective. I realize that one can change settings for different chat filters, but this is not always practical, and in the moment it's potentially disruptive to the player to have to stop and change settings to filter out various message types mid-duty - and that is still impractical, as simply shutting off party or alliance chat bars you from seeing potentially useful information or taking part in general conversation.
Being able to blacklist disruptive players mid-duty would be a perfect solution to all of this, and might also have the additional effect of making the GM's jobs a little easier. By providing the end user a tool with which to counter disruptive behavior, a report need not be filed, and the GMs can see to other issues as a result.
