Pls mention scholar in the live letter OR A WILL CRAY
There are some glaring issues and I'm baffled they haven't been addressed yet, like it's extremely obvious scholar (and healers in general) were left till last.
Eos/Selene are the same, they look different but they do exactly the same thing? (look at the diversity of smn egis, then look at ours)
The fairy queuing system is garbage, it's great that you can que fairy skills, but if you were to use seraph or dissipation while these skills are queued, then they will come off cooldown but not actually pop. This also applies if seraph is already summoned and she has less and 4-5 seconds left, if you try to use whispering dawn, the fairy's programming isn't smart enough to discern that they still need to use an ability despite transforming between.
Now this applies to 2 moves Whispering dawn (our most powerful and only regen (apart from SS now) which is on 60 second cooldown)
and Fey illumination which is 120 second cooldown (while it's underwhelming it's still a skill we have)
Imagine if for example Hissatsu: Senei the Samurai move on 120 second cooldown, if that sometimes just didn't go off, imagine the absolute outrage there would be, but for some obscure reason this not only hasn't been mentioned at all since ShB, it hasn't even been acknowledged.
When seraph is summoned : The tooltip doesn't change for whispering dawn and fey illumination on your hotbar but they appear differently in the buff window, but guess what? THEY ALL DO THE SAME THING
and while we're on the topic of tooltips, Whispering Dawn, Fey Illumination,, Fey blessing & Consolation all there tooltips say: Commands the fairy to use "said skill" but it doesn't actually include any details of the spell or it's potency (you have to look in abilities section) This isn't a huge issue because obviously you know what these skills do, but makes it extremely obvious scholar was rushed.
Putting our charge action behind a 120 second cooldown is frikkin rude (just make consolation a 10 sec cooldown so you can only use it twice, you know like enkindle bahamut) give fey blessing 2 charges on a 30 second cooldown, then it's potency might actually make sense.
It just honestly baffles me how dps classes get constant buffs and QOL improvements, while healer classes are left broken.
i don't even want a buff sch is fine, i just want it to you know, work?
DPS and tanks received ALOT of love over ShB some classes being transformed into much better iterations, however scholar and astro have been made worse
