Get Rid Of Healer!

Sort of a suggestion inspired by others, yet an attempt on its own.

I shall start by stating this premise: HEALERS are MORE than JUST HEALERS, and they are SUPPOSED to be able to do MORE
than JUST HEAL.
Support comes in many forms, and even in other FF games not all of thoes forms are giving direct baskets of hp to your DPS diving head first into
the pool that is the enemy aoe markers.

with that being said so here is my suggestion:

WE SHOULD GET RID OF THE "HEALER" CATEGORY ENTIRELY, AND REPLACE IT WITH A "SUPPORT" CATEGORY.
now before yall try to set me on fire allow me to reason with ya.
to make this short ill explain it like this: Final fantasy 5 has many jobs, but i would consider only 1-3 of them as
those that would be put in the actual HEALER role by ff14 standards (white mage, chemist, and Red mage[red mage only because it has access to white magic])
HOWEVER these 3 classes are not the games only "support" -- support, meaning a job able to keep the rest of the party alive/healthy through their abilities -- healing or otherwise.

Time mage] not only has a REGEN ability that can be cast on allies, but also can SLOW and STOP enemies, but also can SPEED UP allies, and if the battle is going bad
at any moment the time mage can straight up RESET the battle like nothing ever happened, and the whole party can try again.

Blue Mage has a party-wide Mighty guard, along with Healing wind (not much of a full healer aresonal, but you can use this to support a party -- bootleg healer)

Bard has an Aoe regen, aoe strength boost, aoe speed boost, aoe mana regen, it even has a STOP, CONFUSE, and DISCOUNT HOLY.

Even Oracle is an ok healer with is Rejuvination and Recuperation (hp restore and esuna)-- and its healing wind and blessing...well they have a chance to activate, but when they hit...ooo lawd they hit.

In fact, when i think of it Chemist wouldnt even be considered a "healer" by ff14 standards because late game its reliable heals are item based and fall off into nigh uselessness, however it has much saving grace in its ability to
use a PARTY WIDE esuna and rez, and its large selection of unique buffs and debuffs, due to this its arguably one of the BEST supports/healers in the game.

what im trying to say with this is i think SE is going about the "HEALER" role all wrong.
by the way the healer classes are set up they have defined healer as something with spam healing, nothing else matters too much.
but as you can guess in my example HEALERS are supposed to be able to do MORE than just HEAL.

And thus i re-instate my suggestion. Get rid of the "HEALER" and replace it with "SUPPORT". The new SUPPORT role will encompass and define "healer" jobs as classes that are able to support and keep the party
alive and healthy -- some may do this in a much different way than just heals.
