Hi, I'm opening this thread considering they've been working on the graphical update during the last expansion and I think it'd be a great idea we get a gameplay update for 8.0

There are several stuff it's time they address because it's either aging or has been an issue since the start of the game.

Jobs design
  • Lock job progress and duties above lvl 30 if someone is still playing as class instead of the proper job
  • Improve role tutorials at the beginning of ARR. Some stuff could be explained better and have more friendly dialogues considering the game is not available in several languages.
  • Take more time to read player feedback. Especially regarding jobs like DRK, PLD, MNK, AST and BLM to name some. Bring back job identity and revert the 2 minute burst design.
  • Not all tanks need to make the same DPS. If WAR can solo bosses more easily due to its mitigation and healing it'd be great you made DRK for example have the same healing, deal at least the same damage or more
  • Make jobs range in difficulty again. Some changes like MNK rework felt it was done for people who don't care about MNK. The buffs and debuff were a fun part from that job and its removal feels like going from Tekken 8 to Naruto Storm.

Accessibility
  • Add more languages, no voice dub needed. Some languages are Latin Spanish, European Spanish, Portuguese, Italian... to name some
  • Add subscription and pricing localization. You have localized prices on Steam but your sub and product is extremely expensive in South America and Asia. Even WoW and TESO have localized pricing making it more equal to all players.
  • Fix the animation lock issue regarding high ping. Several jobs like DRK, SAM, MNK or MCH are unplayable at 200ms ping.

Variety and more time-friendly high-end
  • Add content to get BiS with different gear. It can be in Criterion Savage, make alliance raid savage, or a new content that allows people to get BiS for only one job and it's more grindy or RNG based if you can't run high-end due to having to work and study at the same time. This last thing happens a lot in South American players due to our lifestyle and just being able to run during weekends.
  • Lift some weekly restrictions in savage raids. Allow us to reclear fights and don't punish players who haven't cleared yet. Also it'd be great if you considered making weekly loot work like normal raids where we can clear as many times as we want till we get a piece/item.
