Something I was discussing with a friend recently was how the names of various things on the first are references to different Final fantasy parts. Ronka is from ff5 for example.
However theres three I can't pin down, those being the names of the roegadyn miqote and viera
Hume, the hyur equivalent is from FF12 and the rest of ivalice scenarios
Elves being elezen is all the way back in FF1 game. One of the key plot points was the dark elf prince
Ronso are the race the Hrothgar are directly modelled after. The name of several amh araeng areas are named for prominent ronso from FF10
Lalafells are dwarves, going back to FF4 and FF1
Drahn being Au ra. Au ra are a funny one as they have no precedent beyond the Gria from FFTactics which are more draconic and plausibly their inspiration. Drahn is the rough english pronounciation of the Dragonspeak word for "dragon"
Mystel-miqote
viis- viera
galdjent-roes
Any ideas where these are from?
