Tell me. For whom do you fight?
Hmph. How very glam. And do you believe in glamour plates?
Glamour plates' bling is forged on falsehoods. Its maximum slots are built on deceit, and its cap of 400 is an instrument of deception. It is naught but a cobweb of insufficiency. To believe in glamour is to believe in nothing. For glamour, the Warriors of Light often battle Gods to earn their sweet bling.
Though your comrades only rarely respond in kind. Which is strange, is it not? Is Square Enix otherwise engaged? I was given to understand they were your developers. If they truly call themselves your devs, why do they not repeat the trick that sold the game so well, and add more glamour slots?
They WILL answer, so long as you lavish them with money and gorge them on subs. The glam options are no different from DLC - microtransactions every one! Accept but this, and you will see how glamour is bleeding your wallet dry.
Nor is this unknown to Square Enix, which prompts the question - why do they cling to these small numbers of plates? What drives even men of learning - even the great Yoshi P - to grovel at their feet?
The answer? Your glam-addicted mind lacks the strength to do otherwise! For the world of FFXIV to mean anything, players must put glamour to the wayside!
To this end, we hath fought ever to gain sweet loot through endgame content, to gain ilvls through conquest. And when the dust of battle settles, it is ever the endgame glams that dictate the fate of the game. Knowing this, but a single path is open to the impotent player - that of glamour addiction.
A path which leads to fickleness and Fantasia. Only a hardcore Ultimate raider can rightly steer the course of the game. And in this land of fashionista mendacity, that one truth will prove its salvation.
Come, champion of glamours, face me! Your defeat shall serve as proof of my readiness to raid! It is only right that I should earn your commendations, for none among you has the power to outwrite me!
