This is not the only time it has happened, but when attempting to purchase items from Mogstation, I have run into issues during payment.
When selecting the Mastercard option, the Javascript embedded window sits empty for a few seconds and then times out. I wait 5 minutes and try again. Same thing. Over the course of a 24-hour period, I attempted around 10 times across multiple devices/browsers.
The next day, I attempted it again, but this time I got a usable error at least (i2501). Jumping through hoops on the Support Centre page I was eventually able to find the form to fill out for this specific error. The only problem is, it doesn't accept date/times on the form for anyone submitting a ticket in a timezone that is ahead of the webpage's timezone. I essentially had to give the wrong information in order for the form to submit.
So in summary, I have spent the last 36 hours unable to throw money at SE because the payment system is antiquated, inconsistent, and for some reason still does not support Paypal.
For further context. I am not running a VPN. I have a very stable internet connection. Up-to-date browser(s).
I also had a friend who started playing recently who also received i2501 error when attempting to purchase/upgrade from trial version of the game. They had to wait more than a day to purchase it. Not exactly the best first-user experience.
