This has been a problem that has been a thing since 2.0 release. I am not sure if this is something the Developer is aware of or not. However, I would like to see this potentially look into or change. I will give an example of what currently happens with the friend list system.

Example:
If person A sends a friend request to person B.
Person B Accepts friend request from person A.
Person B decided to remove Person A as a friend from their friend list.
Despite being removed on person B’s friend list Person B remains on Person’s A Friend list as “Friend”.
Additionally, if Person B resends the friend request to Person A they are automatically added back to the friend list without a prompt showing up for Person A.

I've tested this with a few friends of mine on alternative characters. This seems like a major oversight and causes problems for people who try to get away from former friends that go down the route stalker-like behavior.
Is it possible Square Enix can do some sort of change for this or explain why the friend list system is built like this is?
