This thread will be a short guide on using some of the features of the newest version of the Ultima forums.
1) Attaching Images to a Post
With this latest version, it supports both drag and drop and upload from mobile devices. For the drag and drop, you can basically drag any standard image from your desktop to the to the message entry window. Example below:
2) Manage Your Alerts & Notices - Part I
This version also has a very interactive system for alerting user to new replies or where they are mentioned through the tagging system. First off, you can manage your alerts through the user control panel as shown in the image below: (Control Panel Location: http://ultimals.com/account/alert-preferences)
Lastly, you can see all of your alerts by clicking on this link: http://ultimals.com/account/alerts
(also, you may hover over the 'Alerts' menu at the top right of the forum home screen)
2) Manage Your Alerts & Notices - Part II
In addition to the basic alerts management, you can also "Watch" threads to be alerted when a new reply is added. (Optionally, you can also ask for an email notice as well) Each time you reply to a thread, you can add the email option. To manage existing threads that are "Watched", use these links:
1) To show unread watched threads: http://ultimals.com/watched/threads
2) To show all watched threads: http://ultimals.com/watched/threads/all
You can access the watched threads screen from the main forum home screen as shown below.
