Not sure why newer players are being forced into older content that yield zero incentive to go in there other than the proverbial "If you want to continue with this game, do this unrewarding older content." It's essentially a punishment. No one runs the older content. No one runs it more than once so there's no rewards. There's no player rapport built, no commendations provided. In my experience with the last bit of older content forcing, it's just hostility from the player community.
I might suggest avoiding the route Blade & Soul took.
