I got really lucky and got Laharl, Flonne & Etna from the Random boxes of the Disgaea figures. :) I also got the Cleric, Female Witch & Female Warrior. Also bought a FFXII potion, the guy said only 30,000 were made. Plushie is Roy Mustang from Full Metal Alchemist, I got him cuz he's cute! :tounge-3: Also a little Kirby random box, I was hoping for the one that looks like Link, but looks like I had no luck with that one. :(


I found a little Lego looking thing of my favorite Macross character, Roy Fokker.


My uber Cactuar & Moogle hats.


I found a Slime keychain(monster from Dragon Quest(Warrior) series) and a Red Mage pin. How could I resist? :tounge-3:

No Zelda stuff, I was sad. :(

A-Kon Goodies

Forgot to post for you what I got from A-Kon 17 in June. ^^;


Finding these mangas made me want to learn Japanese again, especially since I can read the second page in the "link to the past" manga. :D Got the Link to the Past & Ocarina of Time mangas, four little Zelda phone figure thingies, and a Plushie of a slime from Dragon Quest(Warrior).


Found this awesome drawing of Link battling Ganon at the end of Ocarina of Time, I just had to buy it. :tounge-1:

I didn't have as much money at A-Kon as I did at Anime-Fest. :( That was mostly due to the cost of my Twilight Princess Link Cosplay. But that'll change next year since that costume is out of the way, even though I have to remake most of it. (including the chainmail... :blue-cry: ). But that's due to me being a perfectionist. Hehe.
 
Did you try the "Potion" drink? My friends is studying aborad in Japan and she said it didnt taste too good >.>
 
I haven't tried it yet. I only let the guy open it because he was showing me that it was authentic. I wanted to go back and buy another one but he had raised the price by $5 on Saturday. :mad: $25 sounds better than $30...

But yeah, now I'm definitely not going to drink it hehe. He said it was a mixture of herbs and stuff. Since I can't read the back of it I think I'll pass.

Supremely (from FFXI) works at the gamestop here, and she gets passes to E3 and stuff like that, and she has that slime keychain. I begged her to death for it. lol.

Disgaea ftw... Did you buy Disgaea 2 yet? If so we'll have to discuss...

What Anime thingy did you go to? I went to Otakon in August (In Baltimore, I can post pics / host them somewhere if possible? Lots of *awesome* cosplay pics and other stuff) and will most likely be goign to Reactor Con coming up here soon (a month or so I think) in Chicago, and probably another one in early 2007 before Otakon again in July ^_^ Was excited to see you got some of the stuff I got too. lol.

Also have a friend who is utterly amazing at manga / anime style artwork, so he actually gets artist passes to a lot of even the big conventions <_< He sells his stuff.. he's awesome. Hoping for group artist passes to like Otakon next year <_<
 
Those are pictures from Anime-Fest(which was this past week-end) and A-Kon(which was June 4~6). I live in Texas, so I don't have TOO many that I'm able to attend, but hoping to maybe make it to Oni-Kon and that other one...can't remember the name. Hopefully I'll make it sometime to Otakon or Comic-Con, I have a friend who lives in Maryland, and he really wanted me to come up this year....but my cosplay costume sucked all my money away. :blue-cry:

I've only played Disgaea: Hour of Darkness so far. I want to play the second one, but there are like 4 games coming out this month, AND a new DS lite that I want to get(but can't atm). Not to mention 3 games next month and then about 3+Wii in November, so I'm having to pick and choose what I buy. :( I've heard its just amazing though, I really want to play it. :(

Ohhhh stel....I should show you my PS2 Slime Controller.... :D
