New to high end raiding in FF14 I have picked on a pretty big problem.
The game unfortunately disrewards people who do not succeed in killing a savage boss really early on (first few days) of its release.
The result is that players get increasingly frustrated as days go by and using the party-finder to get a kill becomes almost impossible.
Fix 1: Make so that if there is even 1 person in the party that does not have the kill, all chests spawn. (making it rewarding to have a new person in the party)
Starting the second week of a savage bosses release give a beginners luck buff. If there is even 1 person in the raid that does not have the kill, the entire party gets a 5% echo.
These fixes will encourage players with the kill, or players that have already killed the boss that week to go into the encounter with a new person. Right now getting a party together for Eden 5 Savage (using the party finder) has become either impossible, and in the rare occasion that it does work, every single person in the comp is so toxic from the last two weeks of bad experiences that it leads to nothing.
This type of gaming experience causes people to go on long breaks. That happens to many times and people quit
