With the PS5 being released today, I am excited to play FFXIV with enhanced graphics and connectivity.
That said, I have a confession to make: I haven't dedicated myself to a class. The farthest I've gotten is unlocking the airship due to my own indecisiveness.
I know I have access to all jobs after a certain point. That's not the problem. My issue is the fact that this is my first job. It's the one I'll master before the rest and my first real impression of the game.
I've looked up pros and cons, the play-styles, the stats, everything. I think my real issue is that I need some anecdotal information to truly understand what each job entails.
With that said, here's my question(s) for all of you:
Among all the starter jobs in FFXIV, what made you choose the one you did? How did you feel playing it? Based on your own experiences, who would you recommend it to?
If you can, try and make your answer as subjective as possible. In my opinion, if you feel right playing a game a certain way, that's enough to get you started.
