Firefox problem

any kind of videos that are supposed to load with a webpage aren't loading, i'm assuming they're windows media player type apps, like :

this kinda deal, says "ready" but does nothing when i click play

this is annoying mostly because i like to listen to MLB radio while i play FFXI, and it doesn't play because of the same problem

i'm not sure if i need a windows media player update or a firefox update or what, if anyone knows i'd appreciate the help
 
lol..

i've had a few other problems, most notable one is where it locks up, and upon restarting it, it asks me to pick a user name, and all my bookmarks are lost
 
Works for me (Using Firefox). It seems like you don't have your plugins installed correctly. It's a little more tedious and manual with Firefox than it is with IE or AoL or whatever most people use nowadays.

Make sure you have all of your Firefox updates installed. I've never had any of the other problems you're talking about :(.

Actually I'm having problems with it when using my new dual monitors at work :( I've always had a similar problem with the video too. If I had to guess, Stel's probably right about it being a messed up plugin installation, I've fixed similar problems with Flash by reinstalling the Flash plugin in Firefox.
 
Its starting to piss me off... What the hell is this?

I think I pushed something on my Keyboard, but can't get it back to normal, and everytime I try to push some button, this sh-t shows up and I can't write anything...

Also, Firefox seems slower than IE, alot of time, some sites won't show up, telling me the site doesn't exist, or is down. Then I try with IE, and the site is magically up again...

Starting to hate Firefox :mad:

That's your Find feature, Control+F. Just click the X, if you want it back, hit control F again.

That's another thing I like about FF over IE, the search function is better.

The problem with that, is that this Find feature show up again even if I close it... When it shows up, I just can't type anything, because whatever button I hit, it shows up again and again :confused: Ctrl+F would work I guess.

And lol at LF :bfg:
