BTW, I konw osme people are gonna try and argue this, was meant purely for comic purpose. I prefer Firefox, but I know people who use IE cuz its on their computer and dont know how to install other browsers, and I also know people who use IE because they know it so well they can make it work for them =D

I love firefox not because it's a particularly stable or unhackable browser, but because the plugins are just so damn convinient. The tabs, adblock (the most godly browser plugin ever), IE Tab, fasterfox, forecastfox, etc. However, I've noticed an odd trend with the firefox browser and it isn't isolated because I've had this same issue on my laptops and desktops. After visiting a website using java applications, like pogo.com or dslreports.com, firefox continually consumes RAM even AFTER the site is closed. Not until the browser itself is closed does the RAM get free'd up. (As I checked just now, firefox is using over 600MB of RAM for ultimals.com ONLY)

Anywho, IE7 is looking to push firefox out. I have IE7 installed on my laptops and it's just as good as firefox. It will also support tabs, plugins, and skins like firefox, but also have the compatibility of IE. I honestly use IE7 with the same frequency as firefox and i think once it goes public you all might, too.

About the browsers... I primarly use firefox, but sometime I jump on IE for specific reasons...really don't have problems or I should say, never really had problems with IE, just seems Firefox a lot easier to work with. bleh my 2 cents. On with the war > ~

Seriously though, it happend to brooke too! No firefox window was open, but there was firefox.exe...sitting there, eating RAM. It was up to 123MB before I ended the process. Seriously has anyone else had this same problem? It still happens even with the latest stable version they have. Also, I'm getting a turbo installed on my car, woot!
