I was just thinking about this whole thing that happened when flying was added to the old world in WoW and how they are going to fix the original games story to make it more streamlined.
To reach Zodiark, all the shards have to be recombined into one. We are on the first and I've got a feeling that something cataclysmic will happen that results in the prerequisite for Zodiark to be unlocked to occur, meaning we could see the revamp to the old world in FFXIV 6.0.
Anyone else think that they might pull something like catacylsm in FFXIV with the old world? Have the first come crashing back and we return to see a very different world than before?
