I don't typically interact with forums so this will likely be my first and last post. Below is just some feedback and potential solutions for Occult Crescent and field operations in general. A bit of background, I have played the game casually for over 10 years, I don't do Extremes or Savage but I basically do everything else (or intend too!).
These suggestions don't just apply to Occult Crescent. They could also be implemented into all field operations.
- Add a rotating set of daily quests that award operation specific rewards (Elemental XP, Resistance Rank, Knowledge Level, Eureka Crystals, Clusters, Silver/Gold Coins etc.)
- Add a Hunt Board with the following bills:
- 5 enemy types lower than the maximum field level (incentivising solo play)
- 5 enemy types higher than the maximum field level (incentivising group play)
- 1 targeted Notorious Monster / Critical Engagement
- Rewards would be similar to the daily quests.
- Similar to Deep Dungeon, allow the player to sacrifice some amount of field XP for a currency. This currency would allow players to purchase field specific resources (Eureka Fragment, Eureka Crystals, Timeworn Artifact, Aetherspun Gold etc.)
- This would incentivise players to play the content to regain the "spent" level.
This last suggestion would only apply to old field operations in order to incentivise players to return to the zones:
- Notorious Monsters / Skirmishes / Critical Engagements would reward Bicolor Gemstones.
