Ffxiv Staff - Afk Botting

Hello Everyone,

Please forgive me if this is not the correct forum, but I was directed by a GM to post in the forums concerning AFK RMT players that continue to farm after being reported months ago multiple times.

Since this affects the markets on Zalera figured this was the best forum to post in. If not, please direct me to the correct one.

For months the following players have been been reported by myself and others. I spoke with the community and it is the belief that these botters are possible SE employees. No action seems to affect them. They know how to script and just watching them is easy enough and often I can lock them up for 5+ min by trading just before they teleport away.

Some of the community says they heard if the bot is up and running for a week they have made up for there time getting that bot up to farming. Making 100s if not thousands of dollars making it profitable. When we report these players it take longer to "Investigate" them where they continue making more money. This confuses me, just ban them immediately once it is confirmed. They sale off there supply if not deleted by the GM and repeat knowing it will take the staff over a week to do any action. Once again there up and running.

What gives here? Why report them if no action is taken? People stop reporting for this reason.

Players:

Velina Erisasha - FC AXOL
Ermina Zhayle - FC RAN
Zaneta Zan - FC RAN
Itaru Lima - FC FF7, former FC Of the sunless sea
Taldo Criolo - FC (none), former FC The New Sun

*New Bot* Mirabelle Gooded - FC ZAL locked this person up for 10min no response. There is at least 6 active bots now.

The latter 2 seem to be using the same script - making near identical paths and seen together often in multiple zones.

If this is not the correct way to escalate, then please provide email, phone number. Just seems like no one cares on this matter or maybe those that receive the in-game (mail) cheats are the ones that are cheating.
