ARR is literally post-timeskip One Piece. Same goes for Heavensward and Stormblood. The Scions... who are they? The Straw Hats??? They literally copied every character from One Piece. Yoshida is trying super hard to be like Oda, but it will never happen. Half of Stormblood is about pirates—remind you of a certain show?
One Piece is superior in every way, shape, and form. It's the show that changed lives forever. I'm tired of these FFXIV marks and fanboys who think it's peak fiction when it literally copied One Piece in almost every way, shape, and form. Thancred is just a low-budget Zoro.
No matter how hard it tries, FFXIV will never capture the magic that One Piece offers. It's time to accept that some inspirations are too transparent, and FFXIV fans need to realize that their beloved game sails in the wake of a much greater legend.
