As of update 5.18, my LGS has not been able to detect FFXIV running, nor has Discord. I'm assuming other programs that rely on process detection are similarly effected.
Is this intended, or a bug?
If it's intended, such as a way to prevent botting, then it's a very blunt, ineffectual way of doing it. If it's not, when will it be fixed? Is anyone else having this issue? Yes, I've tried uninstalling LGS, reinstalling it, deleting settings, updating it, clearing the cache, updating the peripheral drivers and all of the other hoops TS usually has you jump through. Asking around, it seems to be something with the launcher, because using the 3rd party Quick Launcher, others have reported it works. Any suggestions of any kind other than the usual "Turn it off than back on" type thing TS gives out?
The process LGS is supposed to detect is the one listed in Task Manager
D:\Steam\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY XIV Online\game\ffxiv_dx11
Everything worked fine up until Christmas morning, 2019.
