What if in 6.0 we found the FFIV Characters for some jobs.
Paladin we found Cecil.
Dark Knight we found Golbez.
Bard we found Edward.
Dragoon we can found Kain.
And in the lvl 90 they make a FFIV 24-man raid based with all classes needing to fight the four-fiends.
The unique problem i see is with Samurai, RedMage, Dancer, Schoolar and astrologian.
maybe Fusoya as a astrologian and Rosa or Palom as a Schoolar, but i don't know
