Hi FFXIV Team,
It's been a wild 10+ years. Was very happy to see everyone in person at Vegas Fan Fest.
I've been here, well since before 2.0
I got the original box sitting on my shelf.
Looking to the future, being realistic.
How long until FFXIV is shelved for a newer client / codebase?
How long until FFXIV becomes a maintenance title?
I'm bringing this up because the concept of FFXIV being sold as Final Fantasy's theme park.
The inclusion of Alexandria references has been great.
Could we go deeper?
FF 7 + FF 8 - could we get to visit these worlds in some way?
This goes back to - how much time does FFXIV have left?
I'd like to see a commitment to bringing us/fans to the two most popular FF title universes before we sunset. We had some mini quests for Lightning, Noctis, and Clive.
But will we get to take our friends through those worlds in some way?
FF titles are largely single player, so just the ability to do multiplayer fights changes the feel of *old* bosses being remade for FFXIV.
Other feedback
Please add the blue / glowy FF8 Lion Heart Blade to FFXIV.
The matte verion is nice, but it doesn't hit the same.
