1) Remove potions and adjust damage values or replace potions with an alternative and more skillful ability. Damage is now adjusted to factor in potion use for feast matches. This is a detriment to the system for a number of reasons. For one, it being an ogcd means it gives low ping players a clear advantage over those with higher ping. It is also a huge turn around compared to how combat worked previously where diminishing burst relied on mental skills from reading movement and predicting actions; now it's on the more reactive side and based on how fast you can register potion healing before death. This is by no means more skillful than the previous system. The addition of potions also did not suddenly shift the degree of responsibility from the healer over to the entire team. The previous system already had teams relying on safeguard and recuperate already. There was also a role called "tank" that had more active means of mitigation for the team too. While the previous system did have a flaw, that making safeguard an absolute necessity, the replacement of it with potions only sets us two steps back.

2) Increase the cooldown of bolt by a wide margin or consider removing it completely. Although it allows for more aggressive and active combat that fits in line with the direction of what the team has envisioned regarding PvP wihle also lessening the impact of healer death; bolt has ruined the importance of positioning and feels redundant when just about every kit has a movement ability. The problems bolt addresses can also just be fixed with other means beyond this.

3) The registration of AoE is incredibly unreliable and should not be a major factor of a job's kit. AoE barely registers in PvP because of coding and latency which makes using them a gamble. Relying on chance diminishes the whole purpose of why some people enjoy PvP, that being to affect the outcome of a game through skill and only skill. The whole reason abilities like thunder were changed when translated over from PvE to PvP was purely for this purpose. And yet a job like Bard has Apex Arrow as a major part of its kit, and sees very little effectiveness since it is an aoe ability that hardly ever works. Jobs like SMN, BLM, and RDM also have CC on a 60 cooldown solely because they are AoE abilties while BRD, DNC, and MCH have a consistent and effective silence that is 30 seconds longs. The CC effects for casters aren't even as effective as silence because of varying reasons such as CC overlap with the tank/healer or just being plain bad (RDM).

There are so many more complaints I have with the Feast mode currently but I just want to tackle the core issues first.
