Enter the Court of SecretsWe are a tiny, budding group made up of reserved introverts, and are opening our doors to invite those who enjoy the company of other like-minded, contemplative folk to join us. Parties and bustling venues are not our speed; and rare though it may be, if that sounds like your cup of tea, we would love to share some of ours with you.

Venturing out in search of treasure (maps!) Plot-based (para, T1, fluctuating in length and thoughtfulness) and casual (in-character questing and hanging out) roleplay- in general, exploration and immersion into characters and their stories Lending a helping hand in terms of companionship (in duties and quests) and knowledge (lore, tips about jobs, etc) Having a safe space to exist autonomously, while still knowing that there is community around you who respects one another's space (if someone is having a day where they want to play solo) but are simultaneously excited to spend time with each other The Court has a small plot in the Lavender Beds, which is used by its inhabitants as a home base and also has the capacity to be open to the public as an onsen and teahouse, for wanderers and travellers (of all kinds- the Court is comprised of eccentric individuals who do not discriminate) who are looking for a place to rest and use roleplay as a platform for thoughtful narrative. Invite your friends as you would to any venue!The Court may be a good home if you:
- Are on the neurospicy spectrum, or find it stressful / difficult to be around highly energetic / more extroverted / hardcore folk
- Tend to be more whimsical-minded- in terms of roleplay, having a deep love and interest in the lore in such a way that it transforms into a foundation for personal creativity. That is to say, lore-bending is welcomed (but godmodding is not!)
- Love tea, and engage in gong-fu cha. Those who enjoy a traditional Eastern teahouse experience- a contemplative, meditative rest where the nuances of the brew are savoured and appreciated...not unlike a good wine tasting, but more introspective- are like to find the Court's atmosphere comforting and homely
- Are healing from poor experiences elsewhere in the community, and want a safe space where you can be certain everyone is on the same page- the Court upholds the values that Communication is Key, Honesty without Kindness is Cruelty; Kindness without Honesty is Manipulation, and No one is owed anyone else any amount of their time.
