It's been on my brain of late, so I just thought I'd make the topic. What's y'all's favorite(s)?
I think mine, due to theme, would have to go to the likes of Doma Castle, Ala Mhigo and Ghimlyt Dark (yeah, I know, all Stormblood).
While only Ghimlyt actually placed NPC's on your side, they all did a lovely job of conveying a feeling we don't see that often. That, for -once-, it isn't just us fighting. We are, as an old man from another franchise might say, the tip of the spear, but four guys taking on an entire army might be a bit much. Or at least take forever to kill our way through.
Honorable mention to Mt. Gulg though, with that moment of a bunch of Sin Eaters flying up to get in your way, only for a massive stone hand to reach up from below before closing into a fist around them, crushing the lot, as well as all the work the Talos does to clear obstacles from the way.
