I was mid raid when I randomly received said Fatal DirectX error and crashed. Like the others I got random screen splotches that look like colorful rectangular confetti. After FFXIV exited out, I'd still get some random graphics glitches on other on FFXIV stuff like chrome or even the Windows Start Menu. Yesterday I tried tinkering around with it, deleting and redownloading graphics drivers, FFXIV the game itself, checking DirectX if corrupted, changing to DX9, changing to an older version of Radeon Settings, a different character, and sometimes I'd crash and get the DirectX error even before the ESRB rating would show up. Beforehand I'd almost exclusively crash right after I select my character. I'd still crash before anything ingame would render though. Any ideas? I don't know how to do that log thing everyone posts but my setup is as follows:
